Description
A sturdy linen lined notebook. Covered in Iris book cloth and lined with St. Armand Canal St. paper. Sized approx. 8.5 x 5.5" and filled with lined paper. Coil binding means the book opens perfectly flat and can fold back on itself. 135 pages.
Mule Mother Books is a micro-book bindery based in K'jipuktuk/ Halifax, Nova Scotia. A one person operation since 2011, I started out exclusively making blank journals from (mostly) recycled, vintage and antique materials/ found materials. They were all one of a kind in different shapes and sizes and binding styles and every now and again I'll see one out in the world and it brings me indescribable joy.
While blank journals will always made here because they are the heart of Mule Mother, there did come a time to expand beyond the blank book and to design books that had a bit more direction. Nine-ish years later and Mule Mother now makes all kinds of journals, record keepers, planners and organizers etc., and always has more cooking in the background.
