Cobalt Blue Sea Glass Ring in Sterling Silver

This beautiful cobalt blue sea glass ring has been set in fine silver on a sterling silver band. It's colour is very rare which adds to the beauty of this statement ring.

The cobalt blue sea glass is sometimes called the "sapphire of the beach" which is very rare to find. Perfume, vick's vapo rub and milk of magnesia bottles are just some of the bottles that have been known to be this colour.

After finding this sea glass I brought it back to my studio and made the setting from fine silver and the band from sterling silver. Everything about this ring was handmade.
