Description

Maintaining your new Ocean Board with a natural oil will help prevent liquids (bacteria) and moisture from soaking into the wood.

The added beeswax in my recipe provides an extra layer of protection while the vitamin E will protect the oil from going rancid.

Your new Ocean Board has already received a layer of conditioner. How often you should oil it will depend on how often you use it.

To care for your board, wash it with a warm soapy cloth. To oil your clean and dry board, apply the natural wood conditioner with a clean and dry cloth. Leave overnight, or for a few hours. Remove any excess butter so your board doesn't feel sticky.
